Moscow’s Mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, reported that approximately 600 drones aimed at the Moscow region, with 201 being successfully neutralized. The attack resulted in one casualty in the area. A significant fire erupted at a Wildberries distribution center near Podolsk, about 25 miles from central Moscow. Ukrainian military sources indicated that the 250,000 square meter facility suffered extensive damage and was rendered inoperable. Ukraine has increasingly utilized long-range drones to target Russian military and economic infrastructure, with Wildberries facilities reportedly struck due to their alleged use in military logistics.

In a related incident, NATO officials disclosed that a Spanish fighter jet, participating in a NATO patrol, downed a suspected Russian drone that had encroached into Romanian airspace. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of persistently targeting civilian infrastructure, noting that Moscow had launched over 1,550 attack drones, nearly 1,560 guided bombs, and 62 missiles against Ukraine over the past week.
